ExtraPros offers House Arrest programs to meet all manner of pre-trial or post-commitment needs from lower-cost RF based systems to full GPS tracking systems.  Each ExtraPros House Arrest systems provides the following capabilities:

  • Flexibility of Scheduling - Offender's schedule can be customized to allow him or her to go to work, make court appearances and attend court-ordered treatment meetings.  
  • Ability to determine if offender is complying with schedule restrictions - Alerts can be easily configured to notify ExtraPros officers or the courts if an offender does not return home prior to curfew.
  • Ability to determine if offender is leaving home when he or she is required - This is particularly helpful for offenders who are required to be at work, treatment meetings or other mandatory appointments.
  • Tamper Resistant devices - All devices include multiple tamper resistance features which can be configured to notify ExtraPros officers or the courts/law enforcement if an attempt is made to circumvent the monitoring device.

Standard House Arrest

Home Guard 200 

The lowest cost option for House Arrest includes all of the features listed above.  Using Radio Frequency Monitoring, this device determines and records whether the offender is within range of the base station in his home.  It records the time and date of the offender's departures and arrivals from the residence.  If the offender leaves the residence during a curfew period or arrives home late for curfew, an alert is generated.  Alerts can be sent to anyone needing this information via e-mail or text message.  Courts have the option to allow ExtraPros officers to investigate alerts if so desired.  This allows our officers to work directly with the offender to correct minor issues such as being slightly out of range of the base station while in a driveway, garage or back yard without requiring the courts or law enforcement to deal with minor issues.

House Arrest with GPS Tracking

ExtraPros uses the state-of-the-art ExacuTrack One® system.  Designed to provide the most flexible options available, this system tracks the offender's precise location both at home and when away from home.  Using both the GPS satellite system and Advanced Forward Link Trilateration (AFLT), the device is able to keep track of the offender's location 24/7/365.  With the included Beacon® installed at the offender's home, the system automatically switches from GPS to an RF system, greatly enhancing battery life.  As with all ExtraPros house arrest systems, scheduling of curfews and curfew exceptions is customizeable to meet the requirements of the offender's court-ordered restrictions.

Because this system uses the cellular network, it is not necessary for the offender to maintain a telephone line in his home.
